All about that Bag Strap

Are bag straps the new "It" accessory? Luxury brand Fendi was the first to introduce this fun and quirky accessory 'Strap You' bag straps at their Spring/Summer 2016 collection and recently, luxury designer brands like Louis Vuitton and Prada have followed suit. These straps are a fun way to refresh any bag you currently have. They give new bags a whole different look and make old bags relevant again. Fendi has definitely taken the accessory world by storm and is definitely one of my favourite brands right now. Their other bag accessories like the bug fur charms, the famous Karlito, the micro baguette ( because everyone needs a mini bag attached to their larger one!) and their latest Fendirumi charms are bold and definitely make a statement on any bag. If you're willing to splurge (or starve) they are just too cute to pass up!

A metallic shoe also gives interest to an otherwise simple jeans and sweater outfit. Don't shy away from silver and gold. They are, in my opinion, neutral colours. Neutral colours are based on how effectively you can blend them in with other colours and I have matched these metallic silver shoes with just about everything in my closet. Therefore I consider these a neutral.

Fendi has expanded their market by designing accessories to not only complement their own bags but you could attach any of their accessories onto any bag you have. Here I have attached my Fendi bag strap onto my Hermès Evelyne to give it a different look to the regular fabric strap that comes with the bag. This also helps by eliminating having to use other accessories as the strap is such a bold statement by itself. It also makes my bag look unique and fun!
