Summer in the City

This is the first year my family and I have decided to stay in the city instead of visiting my family and taking a vacation back in Asia. My kids are getting older now and they have plans of their own so going back as a family was not in the books for this year. I'm not sad about it, in fact, I'm actually looking forward to spending the summer at home and exploring this beautiful city I call my second home.

Toronto has some amazing restaurants so I'm planning on eating my way though the city all summer because I absolutely love food and I have a long list of restaurants I want to try.

Toronto becomes so lively in the summer with street festivals, food events and parades. These pictures were taken in Little Italy when I headed down to have dinner one evening and found myself at an Italian festival!

I'm obsessed with OTS tops and loving frills and lace at the moment plus this top is in my favourite colour, blue. Perfect! I love clean lines and structure in the Fall/Winter but I find myself in more feminine pieces for the summer.
