I always say, "If you're going to eat the calories, make sure they're worth it!" My eats in #the6ix continue at DOMA. Located in Little Italy at 50c Clinton Street, this French inspired Korean restaurant uses local produce and authentic Korean ingredients.

The menu is small but that allows for consistency and signature dishes that represent the restaurant. I had the tasting menu ($65), why pick when you can try everything! :)

We start off with watermelon gazpacho with pickled watermelon rind. Clean and refreshing start to my meal. It also had a little kick of spice to it at the end.

The decor is simple and casual and almost doesn't match the formal and beautifully plated dishes but that's just a personal opinion.

Our first dish was their version of a nicosie salad.

Deep fried summer vegetables with gochujang aioli, sweet soy dip and herb remoulade.

The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and Korean mustard dressing with cucumber granita added very interesting flavours.

Daily fish, bay scallop and prawN, onion and spring pea puree, soy chilli beurre blanc and radicchio. I could have had a dozen of these raviolis and been happy. This was definitely my favourite dish. The flavours all worked together. This was absolutely delicious.

Pork belly, gochujang glaze, grilled nectarine, parsnip puree and lotus root. Who doesn't love pork belly? Enough said.

Beef cheek and chuck, pearl onions, heirloom carrots, dates, sweet potatoes, zucchini and asparagus. Since I don't eat beef, I'm going to trust my family when they say the beef was "melt in your mouth".

Black sesame, lime and honey comb. I didn't get as much black sesame flavour as I would have liked from the cake. The honey comb was tasty though.

Seasonal fruit, match and a strawberry ice cream. I have to say dinner was much better than their dessert offerings but overall I was really happy with my meal.

Their menu changes first Tuesday of every month and I will definitely be back to try more. This place is definitely worth a visit.
Stay tune for my next eats in #the6ix!
Thanks for stopping by!
