I'm addicted to beauty products lately. Maybe it's age catching up on me so I'm trying to find the best and latest products out there to prevent my fine lines, eye bags and imperfections from showing up faster than they should. Trust me, when you've past 40, you'll do and try anything to delay the process of aging!

I've been using these products for several months and I feel like I can now give a review of each one. Nothing has been sponsored. I've tried many different products over the past few months but these are the ones I truly love so I thought I would share them with you!

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment

Good for all skin types, it claims to exfoliate dull and pore-clogging dead skin cells to reveal smoother, fresher and radiant skin with fine lines appearing visually plumped. Does it work? I think it does! At least for my skin, I think it has made it more radiant and lighten some of my blemishes. Cons? The smell is not pleasant (really not pleasant) but if you can get past it, it's worth a try. It's pricy too. I got mine at Sephora when they offered VIB Rouge members a discount.

Guerlain BB Beauty Booster

I like BB creams and I've tried quite a few since they came onto the market. I usually find they are too light and never match anywhere close to my skin tone. A friend of mine told me about this one and I think this is the "king" of all BB creams! With SPF 30, this BB cream claims to hydrate, colour correct and even skin tone and I am happy to say it delivers on all three promises. It's not heavy when applied and gives really good coverage almost like a foundation. It comes in three shades - Light, Medium and Natural. Cons? It's heavily scented (you can smell it on your face once applied) and the only reason why I don't use it everyday.

Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick

No matter how many YouTube videos I watch and how many makeup tutorials I go to at beauty counters, I cannot for the life of me learn how to contour properly. I have brushes of every shape and size and bronzers of every texture from powders to creams but it was this counter stick that solved all my problems. It's easy to apply and the colour is perfect. Thank you Benefit for creating something for dummies like me!

Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil and Gimme Brow

I've debated on microblading so I wouldn't have to do my brows everyday but I love the combination of these two products. This pencil has a very narrow tip and makes it easy to shape my brows. I finish off with Gimme Brow, a brow volumizing fibre gel to give me that fuller looking brow look. Once you get that hang of it, it takes no time at all to achieve your perfect brows. Cons? None!

Rodan+Fields Redefine Multi-Function Eye Cream

I didn't use eye cream before my girlfriend gave this to me as a birthday gift. I decided to try it thinking I would make the effort to remember to apply it on at night but would probably give up after a few weeks. Well, that didn't happen. In fact, I loved it so much I was applying it on day and night. It's not heavy like some eye creams I've used in the past and it just feels good around my eyes. I'm on to my second tub and still loving it. Cons? You can't buy it at the store so you'll have to purchase it through a R+D consultant.

So there you have it! My favourite beauty products for May. Do you have any favourites to share? I'm always on the lookout for new products to try so I would love to hear from you!

xoxo
