Embrace the Lace

I've always felt lace only belonged in my grandmother's house. There was lace on her table, on her window coverings, in her bedroom. It was everywhere. I grew up looking at it all the time and associated it with older people. I swore I would never own anything lace yet alone wear it on myself.

Years later, and guess what? I love lace. Probably because I'm older too? There's something about lace that makes me feel quite feminine and I've realized it's absolutely my style because lace is a classic. Styles have changed but finding the right lace (that doesn't look like a table cloth) can be stylish all year round.

This top also has the cold shoulder details which is another trend for the season. Cold shoulder, off the shoulder, strapless, it's all about baring your shoulders this summer.

Another huge trend popping up everywhere are embroidered floral jeans. I have no problems jumping onto this trend because it's denim and I practically live in denim all year long.

My beige Chanel also comes out of storage and makes its' appearance in the summer. Its' the perfect size and it fits everything I need.
